Fight or Flight?
Digital photography on photo paper 11”x 17” per print Spring 2025
As a transgender queer person of color, I confront the anxiety created by today’s political climate through a series of self-portraits. Shot at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park but set within an apocalyptic dreamscape, the work depicts avoidance, flight, and fight against figures embodying hate and violence. A recurring time loop resets each encounter, leaving visible traces of past struggles until the final image—where I confront the viewer directly.
Queer Love
35mm 400 ISO black and white film, cyanotype on paper
8.5” × 11” Fall 2024
A collection on photos that document moments of intimacy between three queer couples. Shot on 35mm black and white film and printed as cyanotypes, the work emphasizes gesture, touch, and interpersonal closeness. The cyanotype process introduces a unified blue tone that softens the images and creates a contemplative atmosphere. By focusing on everyday expressions of affection, the series presents queer relationships with tenderness and normalcy. The project aims to expand representation of queer intimacy and encourage viewers to consider these relationships within a broader understanding of love and human connection.

Fall 2024
A series of self-portraits featuring my drag persona. The inspiration for this project includes Cindy Sherman’s early work and the black and white film Paris is Burning (1990). The wig, makeup, and wardrobe were designed and styled to be a fusion of pop punk and classic rock aesthetics.
